Hello and welcome to our Website. The Erne Vintage Car Club

was formed in 1979 by a group of enthusiasts who as well as

enjoying their own cars and their fellow Club members vehicles

also made sure there was time for the social side of things.

39 years later we like to think things haven’t really changed.

Sadly names and faces have changed but I am glad to say

some of our founder members are still very active in the EVCC.

Chairman’s Report on the EVCC Weekend

Our Vintage Car Club weekend started off in Enniskillen Friday17th August 2018.

During the day we had a collection of Vintage Cars and a 100 year old Steam Engine, called Maeve, parked at the Diamond.

We also had musical entertainmet during our time at the Diamond.

The chosen Charity this year was in aid of The Fermanagh Stroke Support Group Enniskillen.

In the evening their was a parade of vintage vehicles through the town.  The Club would like to thank the public for their support of the Charity collection which raised over £4000. The club would also like to thank the bands who contributed to the parade, as they played through the town.

On Saturday morning we gathered at the Killyhevlin Hotel for morning registration.  We were under starters orders from Mr Howard Thornton Chairman of Fermanagh and Omagh Council. We made our way through the beautiful countryside of Belcoo, Garrison, Kinlough, Ballyshannon and into Belleek where we spent our afternoon visiting the village. We had our lunch stop and a tour of the Belleek Pottery and the afternoon was finished off with an ice cream treat from Rooney's Gift Store.

Following our afternoon in Belleek we made our way back to the Killyhevlin to enjoy our dinner dance music provided by Michael Cleary.

On Sunday morning we once again gathered at the Killyhevlin Hotel. This time we made our way to Tempo Manor where we had a refreshment stop and enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the magnificent gardens.  From there we went to Fivemiletown where we finished our weekend run with a lovely lunch in the Valley Hotel.

Many thanks to all our advertisers and sponsors and a big thank you to all who participated in our weekend.

Thanks to the PSNI and the Garda who looked after us so well over the weekend.

Noel Grainger, Chairman.
